Isla says do I eat this thing or what!?

I haven't done Easter eggs in a loooooonnnng time, so I was excited, but let me tell you, Ava was off the hook excited to dye eggs, she kept yelling its a party!!!!!! Her turtle egg (she's pointing to it) was her absolute favorite!! As soon as we were done decorating, she cracked it, I peeled it and she devoured it! Yay for Easter eggs!

A day at the races!

In the afternoon, light pours in our front door and the foyer becomes the best room in the house, we dance in there, hop off the stairs, do puppet theater, ride the inside bike.....OR.....have an afternoon at the track. They were honest to goodness racing and sooooo fun to watch!! They would start at the door and run laps, of course Ava lapped Isla every time and every time she would fly by, Isla would squeal with delight.

Scooter around the block: milestone!

Just like the first time Ava could walk completely around the block by herself....she can now scooter completely by herself around the entire block! Not only around the block, but likes to go a certain way so she can go down the hills! Weeeeee. These pictures were from a pre dance class scooter session!

We love this house!?

I never knew there was a giant inflatable lawn turkey, or inflatable Easter bunny, or, or, or on and on, because this is the house that decorates for every holiday! But in a great way! The way that the kids want to jump out of the stroller and giggle at the bunny sitting in an egg!

Could this be the start of a tradition

Pink donuts for Brian's birthday!! After having a big cottage cheese pancake breakfast, we went out for donuts!! It was a birthday day, so why not! Notice Ava could barely take her eyes off the pink sprinkles donuts in the case!

A milk break

My days of keeping Isla strapped in a stroller are DONE! Like Ava, she is independent, no anxiety about wondering and being out of my site. She prances all over the showroom when I take her to the design center, she loves fiddling with all the fabrics, pulling tags off furniture and putting gooey baby prints on expensive pieces of furniture. All that fun leads to a milk break on a good looking chair!

A week in pictures

Once again I've fallen off the blogging habit! I blame it on Brian traveling, he's been gone the past 3 work weeks!!!! My mind, body and soul have been consumed by kids!! He's home now for some time, cheers to getting back to a routine, eating good (because someone can hold back the mayhems while I prepare a meal), and it's just good to have a dadda around!!
